Streamlining Drainage and Structural coordination within the 3D environment

At PEP, we are continually pushing to streamline our design and drafting processes. One area we have been focusing of late is the interface between our structural and drainage information.

From a structural perspective we have a very effective and efficient bi-directional workflow between our design software, Tekla Structural Designer (previously CSC Fastrak / Orion) and our authoring/drafting tool, Autodesk Revit. 

From a drainage perspective we have a workflow between our design software, Microdrainage and our authoring/drafting tool, AutoCAD Civil 3D. 

With these two workflows in place, we can create buy levitra in canada accurate 3D information at an early stage in the design process, both of which are backed by calculation.

By then linking the drainage model into Autodesk Revit we can better understand its interface with the substructure elements. 

Openings can then be indicated within the sleeper walls and lintels modelled to span these openings and support the ground floor over.

Should there be a requirement to revise the design, the drainage model can be re-linked and re-checked for clashes.
